Thief remanded for stealing

Tema, July 28, GNA – A 22-year-old unemployed, who broke into a car and stole a bag containing voters ID card, cash and other items has been remanded by the Tema Circuit Court ‘B’.

Adamu Billo pleaded not guilty and will reappear on August 3. Inspector Agbedanu told the court that on July 14, a surveyor parked his car at the container terminal of the Tema Harbour but found out later that, the car had been broken into and the items, including 1.6 million cedis stolen.

A witness informed him that he saw the accused breaking into the car and this led to his arrest.
