They hate me for no reason – Duncan-Williams

Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams says he is hated by some people for no reason.

The General Overseer of the Christian Action Faith Ministries (CAFM) told his congregation on Sunday March 2, 2014 that the inexplicable hatred for him from his critics is often extended to some of the Church members.

“Do you know there are people who are angry with you because you come to Church in Action? And you why? It’s because they don’t like me. And I haven’t done anything to them.

“They just don’t like my style. They think I’m aggressive. They think I’m some way. So the fact that you come to Action, they have issues with you because they don’t like me and I haven’t done anything to them”, the Presiding Bishop told his congregation.

According to him, his detractors employ subtle means to twist and misconstrue his sermons so as to court disaffection and hatred for him.

“This message I’ve preached, you’ll see how they’ll twist it on the internet tomorrow. That Archbishop Duncan-Williams took a sword and was chasing people in his church and some of you will see it and you won’t even text back or say anything. You’ll just call and say: ‘What’s going on, what’s going on?’ Subtlety is going on. They want to kill your Jesus”, he told his Church.
