There is no shortage of census materials-Opoku

Sekondi Oct. 6, GNA – Mr. Emmanuel Nana Opoku, the Western Regional Statistician, on Wednesday denied that there was shortage of census questionnaires and other materials in the region. Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Sekondi, he said all the 20 census districts in the region had sufficient materials for the census.

Mr. Opoku said people had been calling his office complaining that they had not been enumerated because of shortage of questionnaires. He said this was not true because all census districts have been supplied with materials.

Mr. Opoku said his office would take delivery more materials for distribution to the census districts. He assured the public that everybody would be enumerated and said some enumerators had encountered minor problems but they had been resolved.
