The Weekly Spectator

The Weekly Spectator under the headline: “Fight over baby stolen 46 yrs ago” says two women, Bertha Teiko, 57 and Dolo Kwashie, about 70, are fighting over a woman, Abena Solodzi. Each of them claims that they gave birth to Abena Solodzi, 48 years ago.

Abena was however handed over to the family of Dolo Kwashie on Tuesday, January 19 at New Tafo, in the Eastern Region years after she was allegedly stolen from her biological mother.

The paper says it was quite a scene at the Tafo police station where the abduction case had been reported. Solodzi ran to her mother and embraced her amidst tears.

Madam Solo Kwashie said she always remembers three indelible marks on Miss Solodzi’s body – a boil mark under her breast and two black spots on her back.
