In a centre spread story headlined “Verandah Boys and Girls Club fraud”, the Weekend Statesman says one of Ghana’s elder statesmen, Mr Kojo Botsio, has described the formation of the Verandah Boys and Girls Club by the NDC as “a deceit of the highest order”.
“It is a fruitless attempt by the NDC to hoodwink the sons and daughters of the Nkrumaist family to feel safe in that party in the false hope that they are with the original family”, Mr Botsio was quoted as saying.
The Weekend Statesman says Mr Botsio, however, expressed optimism that no true Nkrumah family member will fall victim to the NDC ”politricks”. GRi
