The Trust Hospital Health Walk on Saturday

The Trust Hospital Welfare Association Health Walk comes off in Accra on Saturday, August 22.

Dr Thomas Adu-Nsiah, Chairman of the Association who disclosed this in Accra on Tuesday said the walk formed part of activities marking the Association’s Week celebration.

It is on the theme ‘’Championing Quality Healthcare for a Quality Lifestyle’’

He said about 500 people drawn from public and private institutions are expected to participate in the five-kilometre walk which will start and end at the El-Wak Stadium.

Dr Adu-Nsiah said the aim of the walk was to create an awareness on the need for the public to seek quality healthcare and also lead quality lifestyle.

He said the walk, over the years had been held on the quite but the association decided to go public this year since quality healthcare had been an issue in Ghana.

There will be a free health screening after the walk which is expected to last for about four hours.

Other activities planned for the Association’s Week celebration include Blood Donation, Media interaction and Get-Together.
