The storm will come but we’ll persevere – Mahama

President John Mahama has said even though there will be challenges as the nation aspires for greatness, it is important for Ghanaians to bear in mind that together they can surmount them.

“The storms will come, but we will definitely persevere and triumph. Let us also remember that His Excellency the President is asking us to test before we trust particularly as we move into the year 2016.

“Let us also remember that unity is key, so that together we can work as one nation bound by a common destiny to transform the structure of the Ghanaian economy to develop love among ourselves and ensure that we move from a lower income country to an advanced human society where there would be no hunger, poverty and where we shall continue to develop infrastructure,” Communications minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah told the congregation at the Action Chapel International’s ‘IMPACT 2015’ when he spoke on behalf of the president Sunday.

The President in his speech, also urged Ghanaians to keep the clergy and the various religious leaders in their prayers so they could play their assigned roles to the nation.
