“The Press Foundations, TPF, received the news of the demise of Asempah FM’s broadcast journalist, Mr. Kwadwo Asare-Baffour Acheampong, affectionately called KABA with great shock.

We are devastated, by the sudden death of the host of the station’s flagship magazine talk show programme, “Ekosii Sen.

TPF, wishes to express its sincere empathies to the multimedia group for this painful loss.

Our heartfelt condolences to the widow, parents and close relations.

This is not a loose to neither the family nor the multimedia group alone, but to journalism in Ghana.

This is because we are convinced he played a core role in championing the development and growth of journalism with the tact and discipline with which he hosted his popular national programme.

TPF, therefore takes this opportunity to express condolences to the media fraternity as well.

May the passing of KABA, rather than diminish the spirit of the media, encourage and propel journalism”
