The masses are NPP’s top priority — Akufo-Addo

Comeback kid, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has assured the nation that tackling the historical plight of the masses remains President’s Kuffour’s topmost priority.

He added that the New Patriotic Party will never lose track of the confidence reposed in the electorate and that the government will continue to do everything possible not only to improve the standard of living of the people but also to do so in a very sustainable way.

The Member of Parliament for Abuakwa assured the people that the Kufour administration has their interest at heart and that the government is finding ways to solve their problems and which centres on empowering people, by not compromising their ability to make a living. “You will see the benefit of your toil by way of improvement of your standard of living” he assured.

Abuakwa, like other rural areas, is facing acute unemployment and skill shortages. The younger generation of the area will be able to benefit from the youth training programme that is scheduled to kick off in August. About 800,000 youth nationwide are expected to benefit from the programme.

Nana Akufo-Addo, who is also the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, pledged that would not be swayed from its commitment to continuously create the environment which will improve the efficiency of labour, that will help raise the standard of living of everyone. He gave the assurance at Kyebi last weekend when he met the Abuakwa Constituency NPP executive and 130 chairpersons of the executive committee in charge of the polling stations with the Constituency.
