La Kpee UK has released its Logo for its Jubilee year anniversary and Homowo festival celebrations.
At a short but impressive ceremony to unveil the Logo and commence preparations for the anniversary, the chairman of the planning committee Mr Abeka Gogo said a detail program will be released soon and invitations will be sent out to all the association in London well before the time.
The anniversary marks the silver jubilee of La kpee which was inaugurated by the then High Commissioner to the UK His Excellency Mr K.B. Asante. According to the Chair of the association Mrs. Mabel Doku, major events have been lined up for the celebration which will showcase authentic La Homowo in addition to a dinner dance which will be graced by the paramount chief of the La traditional area Nii Dr Kpobi Tettey Tsuru 11 La Mantse and the La Shikitele Nii Adzei Koofe IV ,the King maker of the La traditional area and Dr.Nii Kotei Dzani – Group CEO Ideal Finance Holdings Ghana Ltd.
