THE GHANAIAN VOICE

“Pastor fights hospital staff…Over patient’s car, is the lead headline story in the Voice which says the authorities of the Koforidua Central Hospital could not sit down unconcerned when a helpless patient reported to them that his Nissan Sunny saloon car with registration number GT8975A, had been seized by a pastor, as an additional payment for his spiritual healing. The paper says it took the hospital authorities several hours to retrieve the car from the pastor who intially resisted, claiming that the patient had given the car to him as a gift. According to the Voice, the hospital’s intervention caused commotion when members of the church, Christ Universal Healing Church, thronged the hospital to support their pastor’s stand. GRI
