THE GHANAIAN CHRONICLE

The Chronicle says its sources at the Castle have disclosed that three names have been short-listed for the position of Deputy Eastern Regional Minister following the controversial withdrawal of the nomination of Mr Akuettey. In a front page story headlined: “Three slated for Ministerial posts”, the Chronicle says the Eastern Region has not had a substantive Deputy Regional Minister eight months after the inauguration of the second term of President Rawlings. According to the Chronicle the three names are Mr Fuzzy Torbay, MP for Okere, Nene Teiku Baah, a Civil Servant at the Ministry of Works and Housing and Mr Rexford Dankyi, former Kwahu South District Chief Executive.
