The destiny of NDC lies in Election 2004 – Ofosu-Ampofo

Abuorso (E/R), GNA – The National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has asked the Party’s supporters to regard Election 2004 as the “election of destiny”. He warned that the electoral defeat of the NDC would spell the doom of the main opposition Party.

Addressing rally at Abuorso, near Begoro, Mr Ofosu-Ampofo advised the electorate not to be swayed by monetary considerations to vote against the NDC.

Mr Ofosu-Ampofo, who is also the Member of Parliament for Fanteakwa, asked the people to vote the NDC back to power to continue its good policies to improve their living conditions.

He alleged that most of the development projects began by the NDC in the Constituency had been abandoned by the ruling New Patriotic Party and cited a solar-powered electricity project, meant to cover deprived communities along the Volta Lake as an example.
