The AME Zion Church to source funds education and HIV/AIDS projects

Cape Coast, July 4, GNA – The AME Zion Church will source funds from the World Vision International for the promotion of education and taking care of people living with HIV/AIDS.

Bishop Warren Brown presiding Prelate of the church said this on Saturday when he ordained six deacons and five elders of the church at the second quadrennial conference at Cape Coast.

More than 1,000 members, the clergy and delegates from Ivory Coast, Liberia, Togo and USA attended the conference, under the theme: “A changeless God in changing times”.

Bishop Brown advised the new ministers not to engage in activities that would bring the image of the Church into disrepute but should lead exemplary lives and conduct themselves according to teachings of the Bible.

He further urged them to ensure that members of the Church served as roll models and educate their children according to the gospel. 4 July 04
