‘Thank you for uplifting the youth’ – Shatta Wale to Mahama

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama after a video showed the president enjoying his hit song “Mahama Paper” during a performance at the 2025 President’s Cup.

The football match, held at Accra Sports Stadium, featured a thrilling contest between Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.

In an Instagram post, Shatta Wale shared the video and wrote:

“To the leader who celebrates your hustle with a smile and holds you accountable when you falter. Mr. President, thank you for uplifting the youth and including us in your vision.”
