TEWU pledges good working relations with ministers of state

Accra, Feb. 16, GNA- The Teachers and Educational Workers’ Union of the Trades Union Congress (TEWU), has congratulated some sector ministers for their appointments and pledged their support and cooperation to facilitate their work.

A letter signed by Mr Dan Ayim Antwi, General Secretary of TEWU and copied to Mr Yaw Osafo Marfo; Minister of Education and Sports, Mr Kofi Addah; Minister of Manpower, Employment and Youth, Mr Kwadwo Baah Wiredu; Minister of Finance and Economic Planning and Professor Christopher Ameyaw Akumfi; Minister of Railway Ports and Harbours prayed that God would grant them the “fortitude and serenity to discharge their responsibilities”.

To Mr Marfo, the union said, “we count on your concurrence in our collective quest for quality education”, while it assured Mr Addah of good working relations to maintain industrial peace and harmony. TEWU indicated in a letter to Mr Wiredu that they count on his concurrence in the collective efforts to render diligent service to mother Ghana” and prayed to God that Professor Akumfi be granted blessings to continue his good work for Ghana.
