Tetteh Quarshie Interchange to receive power supply soon

Accra, Jan. 25, GNA – The Ministry of Information and National Orientation on Friday appealed to the general public to exercise patience as efforts were made to restore power supply to the streets lights along the Tetteh Quarshie Interchange.

A statement from the Ministry signed by Mrs Evelyn Anthony, Assistant Director said power to the interchange was cut off when some cables were stolen by some unidentified persons.

“As a result of the cable theft the streets lights have been out of order for some days now and the general public is assured that all efforts are being made to rectify the problem”.

The statement urged the general public and the security agencies to be extra vigilant and ensure the safety of the Tetteh Quarshie Interchange.
