TESCON appeals to colleagues to call off strike

Ho, June 10, GNA- The Ho Polytechnic branch of the Tertiary Education Students Confederation (TESCON) of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has appealed to the executive body of the Ghana National Union of Polytechnic Students (GNUPS) to call off their strike and revert to the negotiation table.

A release signed by Mr Benjamin Munyum Nador, President of TESCON on Thursday appealed to “government and all institutions that matter in this case to speed up job placement issue to rest”.

The statement said job placement, which is the subject matter of the strike, was very crucial and appealed to the sector Minister and all other stakeholders to solve the issue once and for all.

It observed that dialogue remained the key for resolving differences and called on all sides to work harmoniously to resolve the issue.
