Tepa police arrest two murder suspects

Tepa (Ash), July 22, GNA – The police at Tepa in the Ahafo-Ano North District have arrested two people, Kwasi Ofori, 15, and Isaac Apiraku 47, in connection with the death of Madam Afia Yinkah, 55, who was suspected to have been murdered last Monday. The body has been deposited at the Tepa District Hospital Mortuary awaiting autopsy. According to a police source the late Mad Yinkah went to her cocoa farm with one Kwasi Ofori and while in the farm she sent the boy to collect some palm wine from a taper in a nearby farm. The taper was not in the farm and when Ofori returned he found the woman in a pool of blood with a deep cut at the back of the neck.
