More than ten people are feared dead in an accident involving a Cargo truck, a saloon car and a mini Kia truck on the Asokore-Mampong road in the Ashanti region, StarrFMonline.com can report.

The Cargo truck, according to an eyewitness, fell on the two stationary cars in an attempt to negotiate a curve, trapping the passengers on board.

According to an eyewitness, Osman Bukari, who confirmed the incident to StarrFMonline.com, Thursday evening the “trapped passengers could still be heard crying for help”.

He added: “We still can’t find a towing-car to move the cargo truck from the other cars”.

The various emergency services, including the Police and fire service are already at the scene helping to salvage the situation.
