Tema Manhean, Sept. 07, GNA — The Tema Traditional Council (TTC) on Friday installed Nii Tetteh Tsuru Orkoor III, as Akwashontse or Field Commander at Tema Manhean.
He succeeded Nii Adjetey Kokroko, who died about 10 years ago. Mr Seth Laryea Tetteh, Presiding Member of Tema Municipal Assembly, addressing the people urged Nii Orkoor to be humble, intelligent and work hard to develop the area. Nii Larbi Adjetey, member of the council urged Nii Orkoor not to lord over the people but serve them with a high sense of commitment and dedication.
Swearing the Oath to elders of the council, Nii Orkoor called for unity among the people and pledged to live up to expectation.
