Tema, March 30, GNA – The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of Tema Star Basic School on Friday presented 23 sets of furniture worth 38 million cedis to the teachers of the school to boost their morale to work harder.
Making the presentation at the school Mr Seth Amakye Acheampong, the Chairman of the PTA, commended the teachers for the extra classes they conduct for the pupils.
He said the PTA has provided a French teacher and two security men and that while the parents are doing their best to support the school the government should also provide teachers with incentives. The head teacher of the school, Mrs Juliana Okyne, expressed appreciation to the PTA. 30 March 07
