Tema Port ladies donate fridge and paint children’s ward

Tema, Dec. 26, GNA – The Tema Port Ladies Association (PLASS), on Thursday organised a Christmas party for patients on admission at the Children’s ward of the Tema General Hospital (TGH).

They were served with soft drinks, meat and pastries with music provided by members of the Association.

The PLASS, which had provided 6.5 million cedis for the painting of the Ward later presented a double-door refrigerator.

Mrs Esther Gyebi-Obeng, President of the PLASS, said the plight of children was the prime concern of the members who decided to “share their token not only to show love but to but also make them feel happy and not isolated”.

Mrs Esther Sefa, Principal Nursing Officer, thanked the ladies for their concern and love for the children and urged other ladies association to emulate them.
