Tema police seeks for hit and run driver

Tema, Oct. 20, GNA – The Tema police have mounted a search for a hit and run driver who knocked down a 60 year old man at the Tema Light Industrial area in the morning of Tuesday, October 19 and escaped. Speaking to the GNA on Wednesday at Tema, Inspector Yaw Nketia Yeboah, and Tema Police Regional Public Relations Officer said the deceased, Mr Francis Ayensu who was knocked at 10.30 am could only give his age and passed away.

He said the deceased, black in complexion and five feet eight inches tall was wearing a brown political suit and the body has being deposited at the Tema General Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Inspector Nketia-Yeboah appealed to relatives of the deceased to contact the Motor Transport and Traffic Unit (MTTU) at Tema community One.
