Tema police denies armed robbery shooting incident

Tema, Sep 27, GNA – The Tema Regional Police Command has said it had come to the attention of the Command that an unknown policeman claiming to have come from Bawku was spreading false information that he fired and killed an armed robber at Lashibi near the Ashaiman under bridge.

A statement issued the Regional Police Command issued said “the Regional Police Command discounts such rumours and want to state emphatically that the team that undertook the operation had no policeman from Bawku amongst them.” “The Command, therefore, challenges the public to name such policeman, if any,” the statement added.
