The Tema Lions Club at the weekend made Osongaa Nii Adjei Kraku II, Tema Mantse, an affiliate member of the Club due to his immense contribution towards the effective implementation of his programmes in the metropolis.
Nii Kraku’s conferment took place in Tema during the Club’s 16th installation and fund-raising dinner dance in aid of renovation of the Tema Lions Eye Care Centre and the new Tema Lions Club Social Centre.
Nii Kraku, who was decorated with a pin of the Club, would participate in its programmes and activities.
He expressed his appreciation to the Club for the honour done him and gave the assurance that the Tema Traditional Council would assist the Club in all its endeavours.
The Tema Mantse, who was the Chairman for the occasion, appealed to companies and corporate institutions within the Metropolis to support the Club in its developmental programmes to improve the standards of living of residents.
