Tema GJA elects Kate Hudson as chairman

Tema, April 24, GNA- The Tema branch of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) on Saturday elected Miss Kate Hudson of the Graphic Group of Communications as its chairman, with Mr Ian Motey of the Evening News as her vice.

The post of the secretary went to Ms Dorothy Asare-Kumah of the Ghanaian Times while Ms Felicia Yeboah of the Ghana News Agency (GNA) was elected financial secretary.

Mr George Osei-Antwi, a retired staff of the Ghana News Agency and Mrs Felicia McEwan Anamoah were elected executive members. They would be in office for two years.

In her speech, Ms Hudson advised the journalists to conduct themselves in a professional manner in order not to tarnish the image of the profession.

He urged members to pay their monthly dues promptly to be able to run the association efficiently.
