Tema Circuit fines man for attempted stealing

Tema, Nov. 3 GNA – The Tema Circuit Court ‘A’, has imposed a fine of 500,000 cedis on one Mathias Tega for attempted stealing. The accused who was sentenced on his own plea would be gaoled in default.

Prosecuting, Police Inspector Sarah Aggrey Acquah, told the Court presided over by Mr. Charles Asiedu that at 1330 hours on October 10, 2004, the accused broke into a local restaurant (chop bar) in Tema. She said a watchman at a nearby shed spotted the accused and caused his arrest.
