Telephone service breaks down at Dormaa Ahenkro

Telephone facilities at Dormaa-Ahenkro and its surrounding communities in the Dormaa District have been cut off from the rest of the country.

Mr Isaac Gyan, the District Manager of Ghana Telecom (GT), told the GNA on Tuesday that the break down was due to a technical fault but said the company is working round the clock to restore service.

He appealed to the people to exercise maximum restraint but could not tell as to when the situation would be normalized.
