Techiman organises peace walk

Techiman, Nov 01, GNA – Mr Prince Oduro – Mensah, the Member of Parliament for Techiman South, has called on the youth to approach the up-coming elections with peace and love for the country. He said the success of the elections would depend on them and that they mush approach everything they would do through the fear of God. Mr Oduro-Mensah said this while addressing about 60 youth of the Techiman Catholic Youth Organisation (CYO) on “Election 2004 Peace Walk.”

Organized by the Saint Paul’s Catholic Youth Organization and the Sunyani Diocese, it was aimed at praying for peace for the impending general elections.

Mr. Jenkins Michael Baah, President of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, said the rationale behind the election 2004 peace walk was to impress on the youth to work towards peaceful elections.
