Techiman Municipality has commissioned street bulbs

Abanim (B/A), Dec. 22, GNA – Nana Ameyaw Manu, Assembly Member for Abanim electoral area in the Techiman Municipality has commissioned street bulbs worth GHC 3,100 that he provided for the area.

Nana Manu, who is also Managing Director of Ameyaw Cashew Company, said the provision of the bulbs was in fulfillment of a promise he made to the people.

He called on the people in the electoral area to be committed to the development of the area through active participation in communal labour and donations in cash or in kind.

“Techiman Central Market, which is located in Abanim electoral area, has experienced incidents of robbery on traders in recent times and we are hopeful the presence of the street lights would help curb the menace,” the Assembly Member said.
