After 40 days of burial of the late Omanhene of Techiman Traditional area, Osabarima Dotobibi Takyi Ameyaw II, the elders of the Taditional Council have elected a 42 year old banker to replace the late king.
The initiation and purification rites of Nana Kwaku Osei Mensah who works with the Ghana commercial bank took off smoothly without any violence as speculated before the occasion.
In keeping with Akan and Techiman customs and traditions, the chief Nana Kwaku Osei Mensah is under confinement to be initiated into the traditions and history of the stool, he is yet to occupy fully.
