Teachers within Ho municipality return to the classroom

Ho, Feb.21, GNA – Teachers within Ho Municipality on Monday returned to the classroom after two days strike to protest an alleged molestation of a colleague by some police recruits. This followed the intervention of Mr Patrick Kwarteng Acheampong, Inspector General of Police who delegated a team to investigate the incident.

Mr Gabb Korwutor, Ho Municipal Secretary of Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview. He said with the intervention by the IGP notwithstanding the teachers were considering seeking redress in Court.
