Ho (Volta Region) – All public Primary and Junior Secondary Schools in Ho were closed down on Friday. All attempts by the GNA to contact officials of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) and the Ho District Directorate of the Ghana Education Service to determine the reasons for the closure proved abortive. Some pupils, said their teachers instructed them to go home until they are recalled on the Radio because the government had failed to meet their demands.
