Akim Swedru (E/R), April 29, GNA- Mr Robert Kwasi Amoah, a graduate teacher in guidance and counselling has filed his nomination papers to contest the NPP Parliamentary primaries in the Akim Swedru constituency. The aspiring parliamentary candidate, who is currently the headmaster of the Akim Achease L/A JSS, has since 1998 being a member of the Birim South District Assembly (BSDA),
Mr Amoah who is the chairman of the Assembly’s Works sub-committee, chairman of the Revenue Improvement Committee has also held positions as chairman, Social Services sub-committee and chairman, Akim Achiase Town Council.
He has since 1992, being the chairman of the Akim Achiase Development Association, Board chairman of the South Birim Rural Bank and from last year, the Akim Swedru NPP constituency Finance Committee Chairman, Mr Amoah said when elected, he would be able to transform the constituency.”
