Taxi driver crushed to death

Mampong (Ash), July 26, GNA – A 23-year-old taxi driver, Kwadwo Poku, died on Tuesday when his car collided with a tipper truck at Daaho near Asante-Mampong.

The driver of the tipper truck, Kwasi Badu, was injured and is on admission at Mampong Hospital.

Briefing the Ghana News Agency at Mampong on Wednesday Chief Superintendent Augustine Gyennin, the Mampong Divisional Police Commander, the tipper truck loaded with gravels was climbing a hill when it collided with the taxi that was descending the hill.
