Taviefe Teachers Threaten To Quit

Teachers at Taviefe Secondary School (TASEC), in the Volta Region have threatened to leave the school if the acute water shortage in the community is not solved.

The water situation has disrupted social and academic activities in the community. As a result, students and staff are compelled to hunt for water resulting in the disruption of academic work.

This was revealed at the 15th anniversary and first speech and prize-giving day of the school.

According to the headmaster of the school, Mr. A. H. Ayiih, the school spends over ?200,000 on water tanks daily.
