Tarzan vows to expose Sir John, others

Embattled founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Charles Wereko-Brobby, has vowed to descend into the gutter with anyone in the party who attacks him.

According to him, he has had enough of the unwarranted attacks from “hypocrites” in the party seeking his downfall.

Tarzan as he is affectionately called, was speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme on Wednesday.

Dr. Wereko-Brobby is facing the disciplinary committee of the NPP for allegedly exhibiting behaviours considered negative to the party.

He is on record to have described the party’s star witness in the ongoing presidential election petition as clueless. He had earlier challenged the validity of the petitioners’ case.

He has since been considered an ‘enemy’ and has come under a barrage of attacks from members of the party, with many calling for his expulsion from the NPP.

However, Dr. Wereko-Brobby on Ekosii Sen accused the party’s General Secretary, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, also known as Sir John, a Deputy Communications Director, Perry Okudzeto and the National Youth Organizer, Anthony Karbo, of conspiring to oust him from the party.

He said these three “insincere” men have no moral authority to chastise him for speaking the truth.

“There are hypocrites and insincere people in the party, and I will expose every single one of them. There seem to be no discipline in the NPP because uncouth people want to take over our party,” he bemoaned.

Tarzan challenged Sir John to tell Ghanaians the circumstances surrounding his exit from the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).

“Sir John, if you leave in a glass house don’t throw stones. He who calls for equity must come with clean hands,” he stressed.

But for Karbo and Perry Okudzeto, the least said about them the better, Tarzan said, explaining they are the latter day saints in the party.

He revealed that he assisted Perry to travel abroad when he came crying for assistance, but has now grown wings to talk down on him.

Dr. Wereko-Brobby said he will come out with more explosives if he is provoked.
