Tarkwa-Nsuaem MP supports Senyakrom water project.

Senyakrom (W/R), July 15, GNA- Mrs Eugenia Gifty Kusi, Member of Parliament for Tarkwa-Nsuaem, on Tuesday presented a cheque for four million cedis for the completion of a water project initiated by the people of Senyakrom in the Wassa West district.

She said the donation, which formed part of her share of the MPs common fund was in response to appeal from the community for potable water. Mrs Kusi assured the people that the Government would continue to evolve programmes that would enhance the lives of people in the rural areas.

She asked them to take advantages of credit facilities offered by the government to enhance their social and economic status.

Nana Kwesi Asmah, Odikro of Senyakrom who received the cheque thanked Mrs Kusi for the gesture and said it has come as a big relief for the people who have no access to clean water.

The MP recently donated 50 bags of cement to complete drainage system at the Senyakrom market, ten bulbs for street lights and 100 plastic chairs for social functions.

Nana Asmah appealed to non-resident citizens to contribute to the development of the town.
