Tanzanian president to attend AU summit

Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete was scheduled to leave on Friday for Accra of Ghana for the coming African Union Summit, according to a State House statement.

The Accra summit will focus on the formation of an African Union Government and related matters, said the statement available on Friday.

The African Union Summit is slated for July 1- 3 to be held in the Ghanaian capital.
