Tano South awaits Akufo-Addo

Reports emanating from Tano South in the Brong Ahafo region indicate that residents and supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the party’s flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The opposition leader is expected in the region today, Friday, July 8, as part of his tour of the country. The tour forms part of his campaign activities ahead of this year’s presidential and parliamentary elections.

A reporter with High Radio in Bechem, Brong Ahafo region told ClassFMonline.com that the entire Bechem community, the district capital of Tano South, has been painted in the colours of the NPP with supporters and members chanting and singing songs as they wait for Mr. Akufo-Addo.

The former Attorney General is expected to address a huge gathering at the Bechem Lorry Park later in the day.
