Tamale Metropolis records high turnout in WASSCE

Tamale, May 8, GNA – The Tamale Metropolis has recorded a high turnout in the ongoing West Africa Senior Secondary Schools Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) in most of the centres. At the Ghana Senior Secondary School (GHANASCO), out of the total 635 students, two candidates were absent. At the Vittin Senior Secondary School, 241 students, made up of 164 boys and 77 girls registered for the examination and two students were absent.

The Presbyterian Senior Secondary School registered 83 students, 54 males and 29 females, and all were present for the examination. Examination materials arrived on time and no incident was reported.
