Tamale Assemblies of God Church marks 75th anniversary

Tamale, Dec. 6, GNA – The Assemblies of God Church at Choggu in Tamale, which has marked its 75th anniversary, has called on the country to do away with corruption, homosexuality and parental irresponsibility. The Rev. George Kwaku Bidini, Tamale District Pastor of the Church, said this in a sermon on Sunday as part of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the church. He appealed to the people of Dagbon to use peace and reconciliation to settle their differences. Rev. Issahaku Wumbei, Head Pastor of the Choggu Assemblies of God Church, said the Church had plans to set up a scholarship scheme for brilliant but needy students in the church. 06 Dec 10
