Take Me To Court – Archer to Essekou

The Editor of the Enquirer Newspaper, Mr Raymond Archer says he is still waiting for the NPP Chairman, Mr Harouna Essekou, to challenge him in court. He added that he believes the publication about utterances by the party chairman concerning kickbacks are all untrue.

The Enquirer had in a series of publication reported that New Patriotic Party (NPP) chairman was recorded to have said that the Castle had hijacked contracts kickbacks, hence depriving the party headquarters of much needed funds.

In an interview with a local radio station – CITI FM – Mr Raymond Archer said he was surprised that Harouna Essekou could deny any portion of the publication.

Raymond Archer also said even though the NPP chairman had appealed to him to rescind his decision to publish the story, he refused, because he deemed in an important national exercise.
