Suspected pornographer arrested in Madina

Ms Sefakor Ayeke, a 25-year-old first-year polytechnic student, was on Monday arrested by personnel from the Madina branch of the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Ghana Police Service, for luring two teenage girls, aged 8 and 10 years, into a pornographic video coverage that involved three adults in Madina.

Briefing the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Madam Christine Srofenyo, Head of the Madina branch of DOVVSU, said Ayeke, in a chat on the internet with a man from USA who had proposed to marry her, Ayeke was told to submit a sex video to her suitor.

ASP Srofenyo Sefakor said Ayeke quickly arranged with three adult young men and two young girls to act in the sex video.

ASP Srofenyo said the three young men whose names were given as Ebenezer Asiedu, 25, Isaac Parku Dodzi, 18, and the third, a male yet to be arrested, were to demonstrate in a nude form with penile erection, with the two little girls licking and sucking their penises while Sefakor Ayeke shot the video to be sent to her suitor in the USA.

ASP Srofenyo said after the video coverage, the youngest girl who was not comfortable, reported the incident to her parents, who briefed the Madina DOVVSU for the suspected culprits to be arrested.

The Madina DOVVSU, she said, had taken their caution statements while investigations continued, adding that DOVVSU had impounded a mobile phone and a computer used in the pornographic coverage.

According to ASP Srofenyo, the suspects would be put before court after the Madina Police had established enough evidence against them.
