SUSPECTED MURDRER REMANDED, COURT GRANTS VICTIM 10,000 CEDIS

The Sunyani District Magistrate Court ‘B’ presided over by Justice Joseph Mensah has remanded Ebenezer Odum alias ‘Lil Wyne’ the alleged murderer and car snatcher to prison custody to reappear on December 16. Speaking to newsmen after the courts decision, the prosecutor Chief Inspector Kingsley Berfi said the suspect confirmed killing one Louis a taxi driver at Fiapre near the tollbooth. He said Odum pleaded with the court to allow him to go and apologize to the family of Louis. According to Chief Inspector Berfi, Odum also confirmed attacking Kwabena Agyei alias ‘home boy’ another taxi driver at Dumasua and inflicted several wounds on him all in attempt to take his taxi cab. After his confession the court granted a 10,000 Cedis to Kwabena Agyei whom the police was holding as a suspect
