Suspected ‘Invincible Forces’ members besiege passport office

A group of men believed to members of the Invincible Forces of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) stormed the premises of the Passport Office in Accra demanding official information about the activities of the office.

Even though the real objectives of the men are unknown, they also told the director that they will be providing security at the office but the director declined that request.

“I have talked to them and explained to them the architecture at the Passport Office and what needs to be done before somebody is hired to provide security,” Mr Grant told Joy FM in an interview.
