A suspected armed robber has been burnt to death at Adom estate, a suburb of Kasoa in the Central region.

An eyewitness who spoke to Fiifi Banson on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3FM said the suspected thief, popularly known in the area as scorpion, allegedly attacked some residents Tuesday dawn with a gun but was apprehended by some men in the area.

According to the eyewitness, the suspected armed robber has been burnt beyond recognition with his body dismembered.

He added that several calls made to the Police about the robbery incident proved futile forcing the residents to take the law into their own hands.
