Suspect arrested for possessing gun on bus.

Tarkwa, Nov 18, GNA – A Tarkwa circuit has remanded Kumor Soajo, alias Kwasi Badu, 35, for possessing a locally manufactured pistol. He pleaded not guilty and will reappear on November 20. Police Inspector Wisdom Nuworkpor told the court that on November 7, the suspect was traveling with other passengers on a Kumasi bound bus and a passenger complained that her 350 Ghana cedis had been stolen. During a search on the vehicle, spent pellets were found but when the officer searching the vehicle went to report to his superior officer the vehicle left the scene. He said the police chased the vehicle and caught up with it and when it was searched one locally manufactured pistol was found on Badu.
