Kumasi, March 1, GNA – A leading member of the National Democratic Congress NDC), Alhaji Gado Sulemana has called on Ghanaians, regardless of their political leaning to give the Mills administration the needed support to push the nation’s agenda forward. He noted that government alone could not meet all the demands and development needs of Ghanaians and therefore all hands should be on deck. Alhaji Sulemana made the appeal through the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Kumasi.
He said for the country to achieve meaningful progress it was important to have unity of purpose and added that people should also accept to be honest and hard working.
Ministers of state and Members of Parliament (MPs) must pay frequent visits to the communities to be abreast of problems facing the people and help to address them. He said it should not be lost on them that they would soon be going to these very same people to ask for their votes. Alhaji Sulemana advised NDC supporters to intensify the party’s membership drive and explain government policies and programmes. 1 March 10
